Credit Facility with Muzinich & Co to Accelerate
Expansion of its Bangkok Data Center Campus
A first tranche of US$21.5 million finances the construction of BKK#2, a 23 MW AI-ready data center, with initial capacity available in September this year.
ETIX Thailand, the subsidiary of a European pioneer in edge and AI-ready data center infrastructure, today announces the signing of an up to US$70 million credit facility from Muzinich & Co., a global specialist in public and private corporate credit with over 35 years of track record. financing underpins the continued build-out of the ETIX Bangkok (BKK) Campus and reinforces the company's strategic ambitions in Southeast Asia's digital infrastructure market.
A first tranche of US$21.5 million has already been committed to finance the construction phases of ETIX BKK#2, a new 23 MW IT capacity facility spanning 16,000 sq. m. located immediately adjacent to the existing 5 MW ETIX BKK#1. Together, the two facilities form the ETIX BKK Campus a 28 MW AI-ready infrastructure hub designed for hyperscalers, cloud providers, OTT platforms and enterprise clients across the Asia-Pacific region.
Designed for high-density AI workloads, ETIX BKK#2 supports rack densities of up to 600 kW in line with the next generation NVIDIA Vera Rubin GPUs. The data center can support air, liquid and immersion cooling, accommodating the full spectrum of modern compute requirements.
Thailand’s data center market has surpassed Indonesia in operational capacity, with over 150 MW live and more than 500 MW under development nationally. The country’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) is rapidly emerging as a strategic hub for AI training, caching and hyperscale deployments, supported by government investment incentives and a robust energy and fibre infrastructure. ETIX BKK Campus is at the center of this transformation.
