DITP and CEA Launch
“Thailand Content Market 2026” —
Thailand’s First International Trade Show
for Content and Creative Industries,
Positioning Bangkok as Asia’s Content Hub

Bangkok, 24 June 2026 – The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization), or (CEA) and private-sector partners from the content industry, officially launched Thailand Content Market 2026 (TCM2026), Thailand’s first international trade exhibition and business matching platform dedicated to the content and creative industries. The event aims to serve as a key marketplace connecting Thai entrepreneurs, creators, investors, and buyers from around the world, while advancing Thailand’s ambition to become a leading content industry hub in Asia.

Thailand Content Market 2026 will take place from 20–22 July 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). The event has already received an overwhelmingly positive response from both local and international participants. To date, more than 300 exhibitors have confirmed their participation, representing a wide range of content and creative industry sectors. The event will also feature country pavilions from Korea, China, Japan, and ASEAN countries, as well as over 300 international buyers and business partners from more than 30 countries worldwide. The organizers expect the event to generate no less than THB 2 billion in trade value.

Mr. Pornvich Sila-On, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, stated:
“Today, the content industry is no longer merely an entertainment business. It is one of the most important creative industries capable of generating significant economic value through creativity, intellectual property development, exports, employment, and income generation for the country.

Thai content has continued to gain increasing recognition in international markets across films, television series, games, animation, characters, and emerging content formats. This reflects the capabilities of Thai entrepreneurs, the creativity of Thai talent, and the readiness of the industry to compete on the global stage.

DITP plays a key role in supporting Thai businesses in expanding into international markets through various trade promotion initiatives, including participation in international trade fairs, overseas trade missions, business matching programs, and global networking opportunities. Supporting Thailand’s content industry aligns closely with the Ministry of Commerce’s policy to drive the creative economy, promote intellectual property utilization, and enhance the global competitiveness of Thai enterprises.

Recognizing the immense potential of Thailand’s content industry, DITP initiated Thailand Content Market 2026 as a national platform that brings together every segment of the content ecosystem—from creators, producers, and IP owners to buyers, investors, and international partners. The event is designed to foster meaningful business connections, create new export opportunities, and elevate Thailand as one of the region’s leading content industry hubs.”

Dr. Chakrit Pichyangkura, President and CEO of the Creative Economy Agency (CEA), added,
“The collaboration between DITP and CEA in organizing Thailand Content Market 2026 reflects our shared commitment to building a stronger ecosystem for Thailand’s content industry—one that supports trade, investment, and the development of Thai creative talent to compete globally.

CEA has continuously worked to strengthen Thailand’s content sector through key initiatives such as CEA Content Lab and Content Project Market, which have now evolved into Bangkok International Content Market 2026 (BICM2026) under Thailand Content Market 2026. BICM serves as Thailand’s first international content marketplace and business platform dedicated to film, series, and animation industries, featuring project pitching, business matching, and networking opportunities at both national and international levels.

Thailand possesses unique strengths in culture, creativity, and human talent. However, creating quality content alone is not enough. We must also build a system that enables creative works to grow, generate value, and evolve into high-value intellectual properties capable of competing internationally.

Thailand Content Market 2026 will serve as a critical mechanism connecting creators, entrepreneurs, investors, and markets from Thailand and abroad, creating opportunities for investment, co-production, and commercial expansion while driving sustainable growth for Thailand’s content industry.”

Designed as a comprehensive content marketplace, Thailand Content Market 2026 will cover the entire value chain of the content and creative industries—from upstream creation and development to production and commercialization. The event will feature 12 business categories: Film, TV & Series, BL/GL, Production, Game, Animation, Character, Book & E-Learning, Art Toy, Toy, Board Game and Content Services.

Key highlights of the event include an exhibition area, business matching sessions, pitching programs, networking receptions, and knowledge-sharing forums led by international industry experts. These activities are designed to help Thai entrepreneurs showcase their capabilities, establish partnerships, and expand the global reach of Thai intellectual property.

Beyond its business-focused agenda, Thailand Content Market 2026 will also welcome the general public, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the world of Thai content and creativity up close. Attendees can explore creative showcases, participate in activities hosted by content creators, discover emerging industry trends, and gain insights into the creative process behind successful Thai content projects.

Visitors will also be able to purchase a wide variety of products and services from Thailand’s content and creative industries, including character merchandise, games, collectibles, creative design products, and licensed works. Many of these products and projects will make their debut at the event, providing consumers with exclusive first-look experiences while supporting the growth of Thailand’s creative economy.

Thailand Content Market 2026 will take place from 20–22 July 2026 at Hall 1–2, Ground Floor (G), Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok, with free admission for all visitors.

More than just a trade exhibition, Thailand Content Market 2026 marks the beginning of a permanent commercial infrastructure for Thailand’s content industry and serves as a key platform for propelling Thailand’s creative economy onto the global stage.
