Honoring Creators, Organizations, and
Communities with 15 Awards
Driving Thailand’s Creative Economy Forward
The Creative Economy Agency, (Public Organization), or CEA, has announced the Creative Excellence Awards 2025, marking its third consecutive year of recognizing individuals, organizations, and communities that harness creativity to generate new value and opportunity for Thailand’s economy and society. This year, 15 awards are being presented across three main categories: 1. Creative City Awards 2. Creative Business Awards 3. Creative Social Impact Awards. These awards reflect the belief that ‘creativity’ is a key engine for elevating Thailand’s potential on the global stage. The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, at EMSKYE, Fl. 14, EM Tower, EMSphere.
Dr. Chakrit Pichyangkul, Executive Director of the Creative Economy Agency, stated that as the national leader in driving Thailand’s creative economy, ‘creativity’ is a transformative force generating positive impact across economic, social, cultural, environmental, and quality-of-life dimensions. The Creative Excellence Awards is not just a stage for presenting accolades — it is a critical platform to elevate public awareness of the power of creativity, while honoring entrepreneurs, creatives, organizations, and communities who harness creativity to drive economic progress and deliver tangible impact at local, national, and global levels.
“This year, the Creative Excellence Awards 2025 are presented in partnership with the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) and EM District. The goal is to nurture and honor Thai creativity and enhance the global image of ‘Thainess’ — not as something bound by heritage alone, but as an identity capable of evolving into a ‘Thai brand’ of global cultural and economic value. At the heart of the awards lies the belief in the ‘Power of Creative Excellence’ — as seen in all 15 award recipients who exemplify creativity, value creation, and real impact. Their contributions enhance the competitiveness of Thai creatives, enabling them to thrive sustainably on the world stage.”
